Information concerning the scholarship auditions at the Reg. H.S. Dance Festival for 10th, 11th and 12th graders has just been updated. Click here to view and choose 'Scholarships' from the menu.
Note that each school is limited to only 10 auditioning students. Students should only sign up to audition after viewing the scholarship list and ensuring there are scholarships they would like to apply to and that they will accept if offered. Per the Festival's request, students should also be on an advanced technical level. Instrested students can sign up by sending an email or message to Ms. Herndon no later than Jan. 10th.
After the 10th, if there are still open spaces, we will open the auditions to those students who may want to participate only for the experience. Once the YPAS list of ten auditionees has been finalized, Ms. Herndon will direct those students how to register for the audition directly with the Festival.
If you are not attending but may consider it in the future take a look at the scholarship list and see if anything intrests you. Often many of the same schools and summer programs come each year and it may help you decide if Festival is a worthwhile investment for you in coming years.
