Come see Complexions Contemporary Ballet on November 21 at 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Theatre. See former YPAS Dance Major, Max Haynes, perform as part of the company. Student tickets are $15 and adult tickets are $36.25. Money is due to Ms. Ruttan by October 30. Checks should be made out to YPAS Dance. All junior dance majors are required to view and critique this performance.

Letter The following volunteers are needed for Young Choreographers’ Showcase:
Lighting Technician - Absolutely No experience necessary. Must be available Oct. 9, 10 2:30-5p. and for the show 7pm on Oct. 11 (6pm call time). It is preferred for you to also work the matinee which is R2 on Oct. 11 but this is optional if you cannot miss class. You will be put on the excuse list for teachers if you do work R2. You will fade lights in and out between each piece. Sound Technician - Absolutely No experience necessary. Must be available Oct. 9, 10 2:30-5p. and for the show 7pm on Oct. 11 (6pm call time). You will hit play for each dance. Music will already be in a playlist in order. Videographer- Absolutely No experience necessary. Must be available for the show 7pm on Oct. 11 (6:15 call time) and R2 on October 11.- You will be put on the excuse list for your teacher. You will hit record for each dance. Camcorder will be on a tripod. Usher- Must be available for the show 7pm on Oct. 11. You are called at 6pm. Dress nicely in black or dark colors. Hand out programs. Stay until at least intermission.

Water Bottle Donations Volunteers We are looking for several dancers to participate in the Louisville Water Trick or Treatment on October 23 from 4:30-7:30. Students will lead the crowd in the dance, Thriller and in return the Louisville Water Company will donate money to go towards decreasing the cost of festival. Students will need to commit to the October 23 date as well as to a couple of rehearsals after school, dates and times to be decided. All participants will need to register online and create an account to complete the payments for your trip. Sign up to be a meat carver on September 28th from 3-10 p.m. on a night race at Churchill Downs. The carvers will need to be 18 and older and must wear Black pants (no jeans, spandex, sweatpants, etc.), 100% non-slip black shoes, a t-shirt that will be comfortable underneath the provided uniform jackets, and must have long hair neatly pulled back.
