Please sign up to volunteer to usher, help with flowers or help with the reception for Dance Concert. We ask that all freshmen parents and students take the lead on volunteering. All volunteers will get to see the show for free.
In addition we ask that all freshmen dance majors bring a fruit or veggie tray, all sophomore dance majors bring an appetizer, all junior dance majors bring a dessert and all senior dance majors bring in a case of bottled water. The English as a Second Language Program at Semple Elementary School is hosting an International Night on January 24 from 5 - 7 p.m. If any YPAS dancers need volunteer hours, and want to perform a short piece upon which they are already working, please contact Ms. Ruttan.
Dorrance Dance is hosting a free tap class from 5pm – 6pm on Tuesday, Jan 22, in Todd Hall at the Kentucky Center for tap dancers with 2+ years of experience.

A 2015 MacArthur Fellow, 2014 Alpert Award Winner, and 2013 Jacob’s Pillow Dance Award Winner, Michelle performs, teaches and choreographs throughout the world as a solo artist and with her company. The company makes their Louisville Debut with their technology-infused program ETM Double: Down, which utilizes a custom-made interactive floor that accompanies the live musicians with every foot movement. Join us in the Annex Conference Room to decorate pointe shoes.
Tickets are available to see the Malpaso Dance Company on Saturday, February 23 at the Brown Theatre at 8:00 p.m. Student tickets are $15 and adult tickets are $27.25. Money is due to Ms. Ruttan by January 31. Please make checks out to YPAS Dance.
