Hey Dance Folks,
This is my last desperate call for volunteers for Young Choreographers' Showcase. As of today, I have one usher and no one to help with video, lights or sound. I am not able to run all of these things alone. I want to emphasize that these jobs require ABSOLUTELY NO TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE. For example, "Sound Technician" is just fancy speak for "person who hits the play button". Note that this is a great (and easy) addition to a resume and service hours are available. If you can help (majors, non-majors, parents, siblings) any day, we need you. Contact Mrs. Mansilla asap. Thanks!
Oct 9 Wednesday 2:30-5
Oct 10 Thursday 2:30-4:30
Oct 11 Friday Red 2 and 6:15-8p
Come see Complexions Contemporary Ballet on November 21 at 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Theatre. See former YPAS Dance Major, Max Haynes, perform as part of the company. Student tickets are $15 and adult tickets are $36.25. Money is due to Ms. Ruttan by October 30. Checks should be made out to YPAS Dance. All junior dance majors are required to view and critique this performance.
